Optixcare®
Eye EMS
5 single-dose units of 0.33ml
Optixcare® Eye EMS is an innovation in Veterinary Ophthalmology: quickly promotes corneal healing and reduces discomfort.
+ Recommended Use
Optixcare® Eye EMS helps promote rapid healing, comfort and recovery in pets suffering from acute or chronic non-healing corneal ulcers.
It contains a RGTA® exclusive regenerative technology that quickly promotes corneal healing by providing an extra-cellular matrix substitute that is resistant to degradation.
+ Directions for Use
Apply only 1 drop per affected eye every 2 days for dogs and cats. Apply 2 drops per affected eye every 2 days for horses. Daily use does not improve efficacy.
• Wait 10 minutes after administration of Optixcare® Eye EMS and before applying any other eye drops (to avoid flushing the product out of the eye).
• It is best practice to wash out the eye after a fluorescein test and prior to applying any eye drops (including Optixcare® Eye EMS).
• It is advised to conduct the fluorescein test at the earliest 48 hours after the last application of Optixcare® Eye EMS.
• Discard the open vial after application even if there are drops remaining (preservative free product product).
• Optixcare® Eye EMS is to be applied until the corneal ulcer is completely healed (in conjunction with its etiological treatment). In some severe cases, opening a second box may be necessary.
• Always administer complete courses of 5 doses.
+ Key Ingredients
Optixcare® Eye EMS contains 0.1mg/ml of RGTA®

+ Testimonials
"For many of our slow to heal corneal ulcers, we have used serum drop. In the last 2 months, we have been able to offer Optixcare Eye EMS with a treatment frequency of every other day. The clients have really appreciated the decrease in dosing frequency, have found the product easy to use and not too cost prohibitive for the convenience. The patients have varied from a 7 year old French Bulldog to a 11 year old Golden Retriever. In all the above cases, the diagnosis was corneal ulcers with some being indolent corneal ulcers. We have seen resolution of the ulcers in all cases."
Dr. Lani Lafrance, Fort Saskatchewan Veterinary Clinic
"I originally intended to use Optixcare Eye EMS for deep corneal ulcers only. But since I introduced it as a part of my protocol, every corneal ulcer I have treated, regardless of depth, has been completely healed within a week. I do not get complacent with eye problems and I use everything at my disposal."
